I want to buy the 16 gig iphone. My contract with AT&T expires in a month so i can upgrade in a month. When i buy the iphone i have to get the 30$ data plan and i already have a faimly unlimited texting plan. Will the unlimited texting cover my iphone? Ive read online and people have said it will and it wont.

Question by Polysmack: iPhone Updates?
Hello,
Can anyone tell me anything about the upcoming SDK for the iPhone? What type of applications will be made available? Will it add any other new features?
Also, are there any plans for a new version of the iPhone? Things such as an update to the design, or a choice of colors. I don’t want to buy one only to find that the next day different styles will be made available. Thank you for any help.

Whatever apps are released are dependant on what ones are made by the public. The sdk will not allow the programs to add new features to the core of the iphone.
Nothing that I know of has been officially announced on the iPhone 2.0.

Question by : Is the iPhone 3GS actual battery life as long as apple says it is?
I calibrated my battery on my iPhone. Apple says it has like a 300 hour standby time. Is this actually true?

There have/had been several complaints by users of the iPhone 3Gs saying that the battery life is really poor. It doesn’t last that long.Look at reviews.
