Only way is by usb cabal to computer with iTunes.
You can also use cydia, if your phone is jailbroken, but it may be dangerous if youre not experienced. If you have cydia, you can use openssh and winscp to direct transfer. There is also dTunes, where u download songs directly from your phone, also require jailbreak.
Also warning you, cydia is illegal. If you would rather play safe, just sync.

cydia can not work too? it’s weird, you can try pandaapp download center, the place you want, and download apps for free

Yes all those things can be done by iPhone,
1) Offcial / Apple’s way of doint it through AppStore and iTunes , which is controlled by apple and lot of restrictions on type of apps.
2) Community Downloads, have hell lot of applications for almost every possibility with iPhone and lot of games too..
i have,

for images : ImgCapture App
for movies : MxTube .. etc
(for this u need to jailbreak your iPhone using these PwnageTool / QuickPwn )
